Apostle Sergio Enríquez.
When Adam fell, with him all humanity did also, and because of this God has always looked for his restoration as seen in many verses of the Scriptures. Isa 61:1 GW the Spirit of the Almighty LORD is with me because the LORD has anointed me to deliver good news to humble people. He has sent me to heal those who are brokenhearted, to announce that captives will be set free and prisoners will be released. Isa 61:2 He has sent me to announce the year of the LORD’S good will and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all those who grieve. Isa 61:3 He has sent me to provide for all those who grieve in Zion, to give those crowns instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of tears of grief, and clothes of praise instead of a spirit of weakness. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the Plantings of the LORD, so that he might display his glory. Isa 61:4 they will rebuild the ancient ruins. They will restore the places destroyed long ago. They will renew the ruined cities, the places destroyed generations ago. We can see that the Lord was sent to restore in a process that will end in a change of name and then will give the function of restorers. God gave us salvation and we cannot keep them, because all the blessings we receive we should share them; Just like Peter the Apostle did with the man who was lame, telling him I have not silver or gold but of what I have I give, and then the man was healed, we are restores and we have to be someone who gives. Isa 58:12 GW your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the foundations of past generations. You will be called the Rebuilder of Broken Walls and the Restorer of Streets Where People Live. Isa 58:13 If you stop trampling on the day of worship and doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the day of worship a delight and the LORD’S holy day honorable, if you honor it by not going your own way, by not going out when you want, and by not talking idly, Most of the Bible speaks of restoration, but we have to analyze what to restore, to whom to restore, who restores and what route we should take to restore. All our life is for restoration. Act 3:19 GW so change the way you think and act, and turn to God to have your sins removed. Act 3:20 then times will come when the Lord will refresh you. He will send you Jesus, whom he has appointed to be the Christ. Act 3:21 Heaven must receive Jesus until the time when everything will be restored as God promised through his holy prophets long ago. These verses refer to the second coming of the Lord, and to whom the heavens must retain until the times of the restoration of all things. When speaking of all things it means music, gospel, ministries, and prophecies, among others. Also it is important that we do not forget that is not only one time, but many. The last thing God will restore is the Kingdom of Israel in the seventies week of Daniel, but just before it will restore the fallen tabernacle of David, moment in which the Church will be rapture.Gal 6:1 GW Brothers and sisters, if a person gets trapped by wrongdoing, those of you who are spiritual should help that person turn away from doing wrong. Do it in a gentle way. At the same time watch yourself so that you also are not tempted. Here the Word shows that we must restore our brethren, but also there were other restorations. In previous studies we saw that Ruth was restored by Booz, Noemi was restored by Obed (both women representing the church) and also there were restores of altars, Asa, Elijah, and Manases. Other restores mentioned by the Bible are: Joas restored of the house: 2Ch 24:4 after this, Joash wanted to renovate the LORD’S temple. His mentor was Joiada the priest, which means that he governs under the guidance, and Joas did the right things before God. This means that to restore we have to have the priesthood influence which is also intercession and teachings. We have to make the decision to seek for the Lord and do not go back at all, to restore the house of the Lord.
When we decide to please the Lord He will back us up. Daniel decided in his heart and did not contaminate himself and he did not eat the king’s food and therefore God helped him taking his decisions. The Restores of the walls and doors: Neh 3:3 the sons of Hassenaah rebuilt Fish Gate. They laid its beams and set its doors, locks, and bars in place.
The word Hassenaah means thorny, we can relate this to the thorn crown place on the head of Jesus which means that the restorer has to fight even against its own thoughts and we can see how He overcame all and how we have to use the salvation helmet, the faith shield and take the spiritual armor to overcome the enemy and be restore.
